UAV Threat Training

Why is the threat from UAVs important?

Who should be concerned about a little remote controlled airplane? The answer, you should!

  • It's been tried
  • Terrorist and guerilla groups around the globe have proven themselves to be extremely resourceful when devising new ways to attack targets
  • In 2008, the RAND Corporation (Evaluating Novel Threats to the Homeland, Monograph MG-626) assessed UAVs and cruise missiles to be realistic, but niche threats to homeland security
  • While applicable to larger and professional developed UAVs, the RAND study probably under estimates the threat from improvised UAVs or iUAVs
  • iUAVs come in all shapes and sizes, and though not a threat at the level of a fuel laden airliner, they can be used as an effective surveillance platform and weapon of terror against a variety of targets.

Know your enemy. Know their tactics. Know their weapons. Our courses and services help you achieve that knowledge.

Red Flag Flight Operations

We can provide a selection of iUAVs and flight crews for training exercises and test & evaluation. The iUAVs can be custom built as well as selected from our inventory of ready to fly systems. They can be configured per your requirements including weapon simulants and controls and telemetry. We can also supply small UAVs specifically developed for aerial targets applications. These aircraft have maneuver capabilities and the potential for counter measures and scoring systems.
